As chief operating officer of Excalibur Advancement Services, George Newstedt manages the company’s daily operations and sales teams. He also plays a leadership role researching and acquiring new technology that gives Excalibur expanded capabilities.

After graduating from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Business Administration, he worked as an Insurance Analyst for Boat U. S. Prior to joining Excalibur, he was employed by Wachovia Bank for 10 years in positions that included Executive Banker and Business Banker with responsibility to grow both loan and deposit portfolios and generate fee income. His most recent position at Wachovia was as a Regional Business Banking Manager.
